Charmy was born in Mumbai, India. She completed her studies in Carmelite English High School in Vasai. She made her first acting debut in the year 2002 in a Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali at the age of 13. This was a big flop, but it was helped her in getting noticed by South Indian Film Industry.
